You shouldn't start your blog with sorry. So I won't. Thanks to all of you who have been telling me you've been reading this. This one’s dedicated to you (how apropos because you are in fact the same ones who are reading it now. It’s kind of cyclical reasoning but I’m not getting graded or edited, so here goes the free writing and free thought).
I just spent the last 3 hours working on chapter 3 (incidentally) of Pastor Jim’s book. I have classical music playing in my headphones. It’s the playlist on my computer that I always use for this kind of stuff –I named it “easy on the ears.” Just classical inspiration. No words. Well, some words in another language but I can’t understand so it doesn’t distract me.
My thumb has been twitching. That’s never a happened before, but if I relax it, it sort of jumps to the side toward my other fingers. I’ve heard of eyes twitching, but not this.
This book is going to get done. Some days I feel it. Some days I say it by faith. It’s so funny because it’s such a big challenge to get the book done. But once it’s done, ah then what do we do with it? That’s a whole other story. I do believe that God has a plan for that too and He’ll lead us on a need-to-know basis. If I knew everything I was supposed to do and how I was to get there (for my whole life and future) I would collapse with worry over the details. Need-to-know basis is all I need. Ok but today is one of those days where I can feel the end of the book coming. The work on it now is less laborious than before. I’m honing, adding, sharpening . . . ensuring quality and readability. So get ready ready ready.
Want to read something … interesting, shocking, whatever you want to call it?? Well, proceed.
“But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child - a direct killing of the innocent child - murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?
How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts. By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems. And by abortion, the father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into the world.
Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching the people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. That is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.
And for this I appeal in India and I appeal everywhere: "Let us bring the child back." The child is God's gift to the family. Each child is created in the special image and likeness of God for greater things - to love and to be loved. This is the only way that our children are the only hope for the future. As other people are called to God, only their children can take their places.”

Mother Teresa said that. We use some of those quotes in the book. We live in such a confused country. I must say of myself, that I find myself confused over issues, wondering what the real issues are and if they’re so bad, why are people swallowing them whole? Am I wrong? But of course right and wrong are not supposed to be submitted to a democracy to be voted on, unless you’re talking about whether or not it’s right to wear polyester pants. Then we can vote. Everything’s so complicated. Everything’s so simple.
God, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to Canada.
I am off to run (literally) then I shall return and finish up chapter 3, work on the web site – some testimony stuff. Hopefully it will be up soon.
