Hiya. Well. It snowed. We skated on the frozen pond. It was magic. The next day we went to the public skating rink. So many people. 80's music, but no magic. I'm sorry, but i have no camera so I couldn't take a picture of the pond and the evening and the glow of the moon on the snow and our cheery red cheeks as we raced across the frozen water despite the creeking sounds of cracks and ice readjusting with the changes in the weight and weather. . . but alas it is December and therefore it is Christmas. Here is our tree. Here are our decorations. Stars in the windows.

Bulbs on the trees. A lap top reflecting. How beautiful. The fake branches with sparkly red and white stuff that look like melting icicles when the candles are lit below. Actually it freaked me out. I thought the decorations were really melting. But they were only reflecting. And now that I have all these pictures for you (I take them with my lap top for all of you who wonder why i would complain that I have no computer, yet here I am taking pictures). Nonethess, now that I ahve all these pictures I must figure out something to say. Why? Because it is Monday. And on Mondays I try to write a blog to all my friends at home, the stalkers abroad, and anyone else here who wants to try to get inside my head and figure out what's going on.

The church I attend, Victory Faith Fellowship, this Sunday is doing a bicycle giveaway. I'm so so so excited. They've done it for a couple of years. What happens is they take a bunch of offerings and then ask the people to pray and submit names of kids in their neighborhoods who don't go to church and who can't afford a bike but who would like one and then invite these folks out to church. There's a special drama presentation and then they give the bikes away. I'm so excited. Last year they gave away 50 bikes or something. $2,500 offerings or so. This year the pastor had to ask the congregation to stop giving money and start giving names. We gave $7,000 and he said "no more!!" So they now have like 150 bikes or something like that to give away. How exciting huh. And they're going to etch each kid's name on the bike before they get it.

It is hovering around zero degrees Canadian. I don't know, that's like 32 degrees American. Let's talk about the weather shall we. It's quite nice. Oh and for all of you who are gloating, I paid my phone bill today. Yes, my cell phone. Incidentally, did you realize that it is we Canadians who say "phone me" while the U S citizens say "call me." Yes. Just another one of those little differences. And OH MY GOODNESS. AUSTIN, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I'm sorry I missed it. Hey, we should talk movie ideas and see if we can shoot some film stuff when I come down. would be fun.

Thank you to those of you who mention that you read and or enjoy my blog. I was wondering if it was worth it because no one comments. But I am learning that most of you people read and do not respond whatsoever. I am not picking on you. I'm not lecturing. I'm not being mean. I'm just saying I do all the work and .. ok fine, I guess it is work to read. Technically. There is an exchange of energy or something. You do use up calories walking your iris across the screen. But anyway. Some of you have emailed, called, or even written. Thanks. Since I know you're reading, I'll make up more lies to entertain ya'll. hey. that's not funny. Merry Christmas. . .
